First RPS KYOTO PAPEROLES Artist In Residency – Winter 2024 – Applications Now Accepted

RPS KYOTO PAPEROLES started as a branch of Remainder’s Photography Stronghold in Tokyo, and has been holding exhibitions and workshops.
We are now looking for the first artist for the residency, which is getting ready to be launched.
The artist will stay at the RPS KYOTO PAPEROLES in January 2024 and work freely in a private studio, with the option of mentorship by RPS curator Yumi Goto if the artist wishes, or to plan to show the results of the residency in the gallery space in February. The program is available to one person from Japan or abroad for the development, production, and presentation of his/her own project. There is no need to have a particular idea for the Kyoto location. We are looking forward to receiving applications and challenges from those who wish to develop, produce, and present the results of the residency at the RPS KYOTO PAPEROLES!
