Andrea Boscardin’s exhibition  “L’Oiseau perdu” 3/2-3/10

Reminders Photography Stronghold Gallery is pleased to present the 2024 special exhibition Andrea Boscardin’s photography exhibition L’Oiseau perdu (L’Oiseau perdu – The Missing Bird) from 2 March – 10 March. Andrea joined PHOTOBOOK AS OBJECT workshop in 2016 to work on the project ‘Sentieri’, published by her own publishing house Rumore Nero, which was also sold at the RPS at the time. He again participated in 2023 with a new project, this time a photographic exhibition in conjunction with the publication of an artist book of his new work L’Oiseau perdu. Not only in the workshop, but he also took advantage of the photography exhibition, which is a benefit of the ISO 200 membership in the Reminders Photography Stronghold. We invite you to enjoy a fascinating work of art in the form of an exhibition and a book by an artist who has created numerous exhibition spaces not only as a publisher but also as a regular museum scenographer.
We will soon start announcing the artist book order online.

L’OISEAU PERDU

« Ce que tu cherches, te cherches aussi »
(– Suzanne Husky)

« L’Oiseau perdu » (the missing bird) is a project of the photographer Andrea Boscardin who starts from his refuge located in the Liguria’s mountains (Italy) searching for an imaginary bird missing in a mysterious forest.
We are in the middle of the Anthropocene* epoch and the artist invites us, with his work-investigation, to follow him on his journey-research immersed in Nature.
The goal is to get lost in order to find ourselves again, and to reflect about the delicate, fragile and sometimes « missed » relationship between human beings and Nature.
Combining a naturalist approach with a very mixed-media artistic practice, the artist opens us the doors to a delicate, discreet and fragile universe made by feathers et forest surrounded by a mysterious mist.
*Anthropocene is a geological epoch dating from the commencement of significant human impact on Earth’s geology and ecosystem, including climate change.
