After all | Field of Vision — Reading Society and Space
During the exhibition “After all,” a talk event will be held featuring the artists and the curator.
This exhibition quietly interrogates the hidden structures underpinning society and our own unconscious involvement in them.
Rather than relying solely on visual experience, it invites viewers to engage bodily and intellectually, designing an encounter where movement through space and shifting perspectives reveal the intersection between everyday life and the undercurrents of the underground economy.
Alongside the exhibition, a book project was developed through a collaborative process that transcended the traditional boundaries of artist, editor, and curator roles.
This talk also serves as an attempt to reconsider the very act of seeing itself.
The artists and curator will reflect from their respective perspectives on the research and production processes, the intentions behind the spatial design, and the possibilities and challenges of “speaking about society” through two distinct media: the exhibition space and the photobook.
Furthermore, using the exhibition’s underlying premise — “The future depends on what we do now” — as a guiding principle, they will explore the structural transformations currently reshaping society and the roles that artistic practices might play within them.
It will be an evening where questions and practices, quietly yet persistently accumulated over time, are articulated through the voices of the artists and the curator.
