“Selling Yourself” workshop on a photo project statement writing

It’s not enough to be “good”. Like it or not, you’ve also got to be able to sell yourself. To communicate to your audience(s) what you want to say, and why they should listen.

In the Selling Yourself workshop on October 6 and the morning of October 7, communications consultant Roberto De Vido will explain (briefly) the importance of selling yourself to your audiences (curators, gallerists, the media, the public) and provide examples of photographers who are doing a good job of selling themselves with their personal project statements, their explanations of their work. He will critique workshop attendees’ statements, and suggest improvements.
