RPS KYOTO PAPEROLES Winter Residency Program 2025 – Application Now Open for January to March Residencies –
RPS KYOTO PAPEROLES, originally a branch of Remainder’s Photography Stronghold in Tokyo, has been holding exhibitions and workshops. We are now accepting applications for the 2025 Winter Residency Program, running between January and March.
This summer, we hosted three artists, each of whom successfully discovered, developed, and evaluated the future direction of their projects. Building on this experience, we are excited to offer new applicants the opportunity to refine their work in a private studio at RPS KYOTO PAPEROLES.
The selected artist will have the freedom to work independently, with the option of mentorship by RPS curator Yumi Goto or the possibility to exhibit their work in the gallery space. This program is open to one individual from Japan or abroad for the development, production, and presentation of their project.
Residency Period:
2-week residency periods are available from January to March 2025 (with a recommended stay of approximately two weeks, subject to consultation).
