Launch of RPS Kyoto Paproles Mentorship Program Trial! Applications Accepted Throughout

This trial will be a one-on-one individual session.

RPS Kyoto Paproles will host an Artist-in-Residence program from July 20 to August 31, 2024. During this period, Yumi Goto, the curator of RPS, who is usually based in Tokyo, will stay in Kyoto. Accordingly, we are pleased to announce a trial mentorship program for the Kansai area, as part of the annual RPS Mentorship program.

The RPS Mentorship is a benefit of the ISO100 (and above) membership, providing mentorship sessions throughout the year based on your needs. This service is available for both new and developing works and is typically conducted throughout the year.

Here are the main features of the mentorship program:

You can consult about photography up to 4 times a year. Each session lasts up to 2 hours.
We offer consultations on non-commercial photography topics, such as portfolio reviews, photo editing, and project development, throughout the year.

These are the usual annual mentorship offerings, but this time we are offering a trial session. The trial aims to provide you with constructive feedback on the concepts of your work, portfolio, development suggestions, and the potential of your work during a single session of up to 2 hours. If you feel that you would like to continue with the mentorship throughout the year after the trial, you can register for the annual mentorship by paying the difference.

For those who find it difficult to travel to Tokyo or are looking for guidance in developing their work in the Kansai area, please take advantage of this trial to see how it feels.
