Finally, my Dear dad could see the Photobook “The Shibayamas“, it was a very special moment for me, he is a lawyer and he answered me with a letter-review, in his style:
Dear Giancarlo:
This edition is the result of a successful creativity and style on the part of its author. The single view of the photo album takes us to a very original imagination, starting with its presentation, going through its pages and its content.
What has been achieved by its author reflects an arduous task to develop a family history through photography, including the images obtained at historical times of what Japanese immigration was in Peru and that, constituted real background to reach the objective of its author: The Shibayamas family.
The photographic material obtained has been ordered according to its time and importance in two books that make up the work of its author, duly presented in a box that in the same way completes the creativity of the work.
Likewise, it also highlights the very particular style of its pages in the two books, where it is observed that each photographic image adheres to its pages with a fold that without complicating its easy reading, attract more attention and motivate to continue seeing carefully the message that the work carries.
My most sincere congratulations to the author for his good work and also on behalf of the family, for the dedicated pages that have taken me to those beautiful years of my life: next to my parents and the great family.

La presente edición es el fruto como resultado de una acertada creatividad y estilo de parte de su autor. La sola vista del álbum fotográfico nos lleva a una imaginación muy original empezando por su presentación, pasando por sus fojas y su contenido mismo.
Lo logrado por su autor refleja una ardua labor para desarrollar una historia familiar a través de la fotografía, remitiéndose inclusive las imágenes obtenidas a épocas históricas de lo que fue la inmigración japonesa en el Perú y que constituyeron reales antecedentes para llegar al objetivo de su autor : la familia Shibayama.
El material fotográfico obtenido ha sido ordenado acertadamente acorde con su época e importancia en dos libros que conforman la obra de su autor, debidamente presentado en una caja que de la misma manera completa la creatividad de la obra.
Así mismo, resalta también el estilo muy particular de sus fojas en los sendos libros, en donde se observa que cada imagen fotográfica se adhieren a su foja con una doblez que si bien complica su fácil lectura, atraen más la atención y motivan a continuar viendo con detenimiento el mensaje que lleva la obra.
Mi más sinceras felicitaciones a su autor por su buen trabajo y también a nombre de la familia, por las páginas dedicadas que me han llevado hasta aquellos años hermosos de mi vida : al lado de mis padres y de la gran familia.
